Brother unveils plans for Bolton mixed-use scheme

Lancashire-based developer Brother Investments has revealed details of its plans for a £21m office and industrial scheme in Bolton.

The developer, a sister company of B&E Boys Group, is planning 300,000 sq ft of commercial space on the 25-acre Waters Meeting site, north of central Bolton.

Most of the scheme will be warehousing, with around 25,000 sq ft of offices.

The first phase will comprise three speculative 5,000 sq ft sheds, which will be available either on a freehold or leasehold basis.

The remainder of the development will also be available for rental or purchase, depending on demand.

Paul Nolan of joint letting agent Nolan Redshaw said: “This is the most significant development in Bolton since Middlebrook, and will not only provide prime office and industrial accommodation, but will greatly enhance the area’s expanding business community.”

The other agents on the scheme are Knight Frank and Davies Harrison.
