Brum student digs project on offer

Student-digs-THUMB.jpegThe 267-bed student accommodation project Helix Building in Selly Oak, Birmingham, has come to market for forward funding.

The development at 495-505 Bristol Road proposes to replace the former Rich Bitch Studios – where acts including ELO performed – with an eight-storey student development.

The area, on the fringes of the Birmingham University campus, is considered to be one of the most desirable regional student development locations.

Colliers has been appointed to market the building with a £30.3m price tag – a 6% net yield.
