Bruntwood SciTech is preparing to transform its 20-storey Mclaren innovation hub, which is less than five minutes’ walk from the future HS2 Curzon Street station in Birmingham.
The developer will invest £2.4m into the refurbishment of the 112,000 sq ft tower to meet growing occupier demand in the city. The works, to be delivered by interior design company Axi Studios, will include the creation of serviced space and flexible offices as well as new health and wellbeing-focused amenities.
Mclaren’s workspace will be enhanced for start-up and scale-up businesses, with the addition of serviced offices ranging from two to 30 desks, adding to the leased space that was previously on offer. The reception, lounges and breakout areas will be redesigned.
