Bruntwood has released new images of its 12-storey flagship creative workspace building Neo as it confirmed its offices are 75% let or under offer.
Interior design company the Penketh Group, recruitment consultancy Kingsley and technology marketing firm Azo Network have all signed to take space in the building on Charlotte Street in Manchester.
Bruntwood’s £8m redevelopment includes tech-enabled, high-quality workspace environments including co-working spaces, lounges, kitchens, screening room and all-inclusive studio spaces, in addition to larger open-plan office layouts.
Downtown in Business and Manchester Digital are the latest companies to take up residency in the building’s all-inclusive small studio spaces, which are now 100% let or under offer.
Other residents in the small studio spaces include marketing company Radium One, Lateral Property Group, Pitch Consultants, One Stream, pharmaceutical company Proveca, biotech and healthcare recruitment specialist Carrot Pharma and retail consultancy More2. Mobile messaging marketing company Visixtwo and Accent Software have also taken up residence in the co-working areas.
The building includes a digital art installation on the ground floor. The first installation, Fermata by Brendan Dawes, takes inspiration from the musical symbol for holding notes, a fermata, transposing this to holding moments that happen in and around Neo, to replicate the “vitality of creativity of the new workspace”.
Fermata will consume real-time digital inputs of data including social media feeds, weather reports and feeds from sensors within the building itself and translate them into abstract, digital artwork that will capture “ordinarily fleeting moments” and “visualise them as something beautiful and engaging”.
Bruntwood chief executive Chris Oglesby said: “We are delighted to have officially launched Neo with such a wealth of creative customers already on board.
“The proposition at Neo has been specifically designed to encourage creatively-minded businesses of all sizes. We have actively developed the health and wellbeing benefits for our customers here and we are incredibly excited to see the community grow.”
