Brydell Partners has bought two Travelodge hotels from Knight Frank Investment Management for £17.4m.
The deal was for an 85-bedroom hotel on Edinburgh’s Queen Street and an 82-bedroom hotel in Dagenham, east London.
Both are leased to Travelodge with 23 years to expiry.
In September, Brydell Partners acquired a 152-bedroom Travelodge hotel in Portsmouth city centre for £14 from Patrizia Hanover Property Unit Trust.
By the end of the third quarter, investment in the UK hotel market had reached £3.8bn, already surpassing 2023’s total volume by £1.6bn, according to Savills.
