Property and greyhound racing company BS Group has sold its Bristol stadium and adjoining Eastgate retail park to Ikea for £19m.
Ikea plans to redevelop the former Bristol Rovers stadium as an out-of-town furniture store.
Under the sale agreement, the retail park was valued at £13.5m and the stadium at £5.5m. BS will continue to operate the stadium for 12 months and develop a new £1.5m stadium in Bristol.
