Buckinghamshire county council has awarded £1.8m of property contracts to Bilfinger Europa and Carter Jonas.
Bilfinger has been appointed to provide maintenance services to the council while Carter Jonas will undertake estates and asset management of the council’s property portfolio.
The contracts, which were signed last week, are expected to save the council more than £500,000 a year.
Peter Hardy, cabinet member for finance and resources, said: “These partnerships will give good value for money and create a leaner and more efficient service. That’s good news for our taxpayers and our community.”
