Taurus Developments has hired Montagu Evans’ Luca Nardini and former Howard de Walden chief executive Andrew Hynard.
Nardini, formerly associate partner in Montagu Evans’ industrial and logistics team, will be responsible for the delivery of existing Taurus projects and the acquisition of new development opportunities.
Hynard will become chair of the developer’s advisory board. Hynard spent 32 years at JLL, rising to UK deputy chairman, before serving as chief executive of the Howard de Walden Estate from 2016-2020.
His role with Taurus is to help guide the strategic direction of the business and to build on existing and establish new relationships with development funding and investment partners.
Taurus, which focuses on the industrial, warehouse and office sectors, was set up in 2010 by former Land Securities and Goodman development director Michael Gibbens.
Its has worked with development partners including LaSalle Investment Management, Columbia Threadneedle, Legal & General, Barings, Hammond Rutts Investments, Barwood Capital and the University College of Estate Management.
Gibbens said: “Luca has an excellent market profile and will help bring new opportunities to Taurus and its established client base, enabling the business to grow both the quantum and speed of its development pipeline.”
