Buoyant July for Windsor and Woking offices

Tenants invested in 70,300 sq ft of Windsor and Woking offices during July, according to agent Christopher Thomas.

The agent said it experienced a buoyant July, where it acted as an agent for six transactions for offices in the area.

Three floors, totalling 25,000 sq ft at Dukes Court in Woking, were leased to children’s charity Plan International, at a headline rent of £18 per sq ft, on a 10-year agreement. CB Richard Ellis represented Plan International and Christopher Thomas acted for the landlord’s representative Property Initiatives.

On the same site, training firm Paradigm, represented by Feiner de Smith, has taken on 7,100 sq ft.

Meanwhile, Property Initiatives secured a lease renewal with Take 2 on 13,000 sq ft at Saxon House, Victoria Street in Windsor, at a rent of £27.50 per sq ft. It also leased 9,000 sq ft at neighbouring Morgan House to Celgene, represented by DTZ.

Christopher Thomas also acted for the landlord of Windsor-based Royal Albert House, leasing the 14,400 sq ft site to a tenant for £25 per sq ft.

In addition, a 1,800 sq ft facility was taken by golfbreaks.com, which was represented by Altus Edwin Hill.
