Healthcare group BUPA has signed for an 81,000 sq ft headquarters complex at Aberdeen Property Investors’ Pine Trees scheme in
The deal involves BUPA leasing the space in two phases.
The first phase comprises the letting of the newly built 34,000 sq ft Unit 3 which BUPA will move into during 2009. The building has been let on a new 16 year lease at £31 per sq ft.
The second phase will see API take back BUPA’s existing lease on Unit 4 and refurbishing the building creating a 47,000 sq ft block connecting to Unit 3.
BUPA has signed a lease on the building coterminous with the letting of Unit 3 at a rent of £29 per sq ft.
API was represented by CB Richard Ellis and Jones Lang LaSalle while BUPA was represented by NB Real Estate.
