Burford is embarking on a rail freight project. It is to buy a 182.12ha (450 acre) site from mining giant, RTZ at Avonmouth on the outskirts of Bristol for more than £9m. It plans to develop a £100m rail freight terminal.
Almost 24.28ha (60 acres) are let and Burford intends to sell 24.28ha (60 acres) to help cover development. Planning consent is already in place for the whole site.
