Burford Holdings is close to appointing advisers to prepare its third demerger in less than a year. It plans to spin off Grantchester, its retail warehouses subsidiary, in a floatation that will value the company at up to £100m. Burford owns 25% but plans to inject its own warehouse sites in Huddersfield and Falkirk into Grantchester in return for a stake of up to 70% in the company.
