A joint venture between Health Innovation Partners and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust has received outline planning permission for a health village in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
The STRIDE jv intends to build a GP surgery, 50-bed step-down facility, 40-bed care home, and 80-bed extra care residency and community hub at Outwoods.
East Staffordshire Borough Council granted permission for the land, next to the Queen’s Hospital in Burton, with work to commence early 2020.
Health Innovation Partners is a joint venture between Arcadis and Morgan Sindall Investment’s health brand, Community Solutions.
