The Cheshire pubs and brewing group Burtonwood Brewery plans to invest £7.1m in its 500 pubs in England and Wales this year. It will continue to shift from tenanted to managed pubs.
Ten transfers were made last year with five more planned this year. Operating profits rose 18% to £5.86m.
