Business failures are continuing to fall as the economy strengthens, according to a report from Dun & Bradstreet. Failures dropped below 10,000 in the third quarter, a fall of 6.6% compared with the same period last year. In the first nine months the total is down almost 3% to 30,414. Company liquidations have risen 4.% in the same period but small business bankruptcies are down 8.2%.
