Business Homes gets go-ahead for Bracknell office scheme
Business Homes has gained consent for its latest office scheme in the South East, a 32,000 sq ft complex at The Barns in Bracknell, Berkshire.
The scheme on Peacock Lane will comprise eight two storey, self-contained units ranging from 3,042 sq ft to 6,168 sq ft.
The units will be available for sale and to let with flexible terms.
Leeds-based Business Homes develops small business accommodation available for rent or purchase. The Bracknell scheme forms part of the firm’s planned expansion into the South of England and follows a 40,000 sq ft office scheme at Wokingham.
James Weedon, managing director of Business Homes South, said: “We are delighted with this new addition to the Business Homes portfolio as we have always had a positive response from the SME market in the south of the country.”
Business Homes, advised by Savills, bought the site in May 2007 for £2.8m, from textile designer Poundminster.
Work is due to begin on site in February with completion estimated at late 2008.
