Rather than spending a penny, investors splashed out more than £68,500 to purchase this former public lavatory block in the Derbyshire Dales at SDL’s most recent auction, in Derby.
The former public toilet block on Station Road, Darley Dale, had a guide price of £35,000-plus.
The auctioneer said that it had the potential to be converted into a shop or office.
In total, the auction raised more than £4.2m for sellers. A total of 44 lots were offered and 33 were sold, giving a success rate of 75%.
SDL Auctions said it has so far raised a total of more than £62.4m for sellers this year through online auctions and 15 in-room auctions around the country.
