Buyers sought for Egham student scheme

Developer Danehurst has appointed CBRE to seek buyers for a prime student accommodation scheme near Royal Holloway, University of London, in Egham, Surrey, for more than £34m.

Based on projected net operating income for 2022/23, the pricing for the freehold reflects a net initial yield of around 5%.

The scheme, on Harvest Road, comprises 166 beds across 133 en suite clusters and 33 self-contained studios. Amenities include a gym, a lounge area and a garden.

Louis Furner, director, residential capital markets, student housing at CBRE, said the asset sold out in its first year of operation, highlighting its “lettable unit mix”.
