Capital & Regional (C&R) has announced that eight new retailers have signed up to its £45m Phase Three regeneration of The Junction retail park in Hull.
The St Andrew’s Quay retail park will now be occupied by Currys, Miller Brothers, PC World, Barker and Stonehouse, Pets at Home, Pizza Hut and Frankie & Benny’s.
Construction on the third phase is already under way and will add a further 137,000 sq ft of shops and leisure space to the existing 190,000 park.
The first two shops opened recently with a Currys occupying 35,000 sq ft and Miller Brothers occupying 12,500 sq ft.
Further shops are due to complete in September with PC World taking a 15-year lease at £22.50 per sq ft and Barker and Stonehouse agreeing to a 25-year lease at £18 per sq ft on 20,000 sq ft.
Pets at Home will trade from an 8,000 sq ft shop on a 20-year lease at £20 per sq ft. Pizza Hut and Frankie and Bennys are to occupy 3,200 sq ft and 3,500 sq ft respectively on 25-year leases at £25 per sq ft.
