Caddick cleared for resi-led Leeds scheme

Caddick Group’s development arm has secured outline planning consent for a 2m sq ft, mixed-use development from Leeds City Council.

Located in the South Bank area of the city, the scheme will have up to 1,925 homes and 650,000 sq ft of commercial space.

The development also features landscaped areas, centred around a curated “village green”.

Caddick will rebrand the scheme, which was previously named City One, as South Village.

Lee Savage, director at Caddick Developments, said: “As we work towards submission of a detailed planning application, we will continue to collaborate closely with key partners and the community to bring forward a new chapter for this part of the South Bank.”
