Tragus Holdings, the owner of the Café Rouge and Bella Italia restaurant chains, has appointed Close Brothers, the corporate finance house, to advise it on its strategic options, which include a £200m-plus stock market flotation, according to The Times.
Legal & General Ventures, which owns 85% of Tragus, is expected to investigate a range of possible moves, but it is believed to favour an initial public offering.
