Calvin Klein owner picks Television Centre for new UK HQ

The firm which owns the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands has signed a prelet for a new UK headquarters at Stanhope’s Television Centre site in White City, W12.

PVH Corp has agreed to take 50,000 sq ft of office space at the building, which is due to open for business in 2023, in a deal which is likely to be seen as a vote of confidence in London’s office market.

The New York-based firm’s commitment has come at a time when landlords are still uncertain how much office space their tenants will need after the pandemic.

Most experts now believe that occupiers will adopt a hybrid working model where employees come into the office some days and work from home others.

The nine-storey block on Wood Crescent, W12, designed by Morris + Company, will have 111,000 sq ft of prime office space when it is completed.

Stanhope is managing its construction as part of a joint venture with investor Mitsui Fudosan and AIMCo, as part of its broader suite of redevelopments in the White City area.
