Camas sells roadworks activities to MBO for £7.6m

Camas has earned £7.6m from the sale of the highway construction, highway maintenance and surfacing working carried out by Camas Associated Asphalt to a management buyout team.

Camas will retain the regional surfacing operations which are based in Exeter, Bedford and Thetford and the Deptford asphalt coating plant, in south London. The Deptford unit has been integrated into its core construction aggregates business.
