Bidwells punting challenge Cheffins takes the honours at the annual industry splashfest
Forget Stratford, the sporting event of the summer was in Cambridge earlier this month, where the agents were definitely gunning for a podium position.
The teams at Bidwells’ and EG’s annual splashfest, otherwise known as the punting challenge, were up to their usual tricks, with tales of false starts, ringers and even downright cheating.
Cheffins won the race, but some say that they might have had a head start. Luckily, the contentious extra few seconds made little difference to the roaring lead the team built up.
The dubious accolade of the wettest team went to Barker Storey Matthews.
