The Swiss Laundry site in Cambridge is being marketed for residential development.
The family-owned Swiss Laundry company has instructed Cheffins and Savills to sell the site, which has been earmarked for residential development in the Cambridge Local Plan.
Market expectations are for bids north of £8m, and the site could hold around 60-80 homes.
The site stretches over 1.84 acres at 145-161 Cherry Hinton Road, to the south east of the city. It currently comprises 25,800 sq ft of operational commercial laundry and dry cleaning businesses and light industrial buildings.
The agents are inviting unconditional offers by 12 noon on 21 June 2019.
