Camden on track for HS2 homes

Camden-HS2-homes

Camden council has submitted plans to rehouse tenants displaced by the proposed HS2 rail line.

The application for 116 new homes on eight sites within the Regent’s Park Estate, NW1, will also provide 4,655 sq ft of shops and other commercial space and a 0.25-acre open space.

Plans for a further five homes to be built above the Camden People’s Theatre will be submitted later this month. Funding for the project was secured from HS2 in March.

Tibbalds Urban Planning & Design is advising.
