Canada Life has bought the freehold of the 5,948 sq m (64,022sq ft) Roundswell Retail Park, off the A39 on the western outskirts of Barnstaple, Devon, from local developer Sharman Group for £5.495m. The deal reflects a net initial yield of 7.6%.
Completed in 1994, the retail park is occupied by MFI, Carpetright, Dixons/Currys, Norweb and Kwik Save. There is outline planning consent for another 696.76sq m (7,500sq ft) of non-food retail.
