One of Canada Life’s main UK offices, Key Point in High Street, Potters Bar, has been sold for around £5.5m.
Electrical accessories company GET bought the 42,500 sq ft (3,949 sq m) building for its own occupation and will grant the mutual life insurance company a two-year leaseback on 18,500 sq ft (185,005 sq m) at a peppercorn rent.
GET chairman John Joseph said: “The building provides us with superb offices adjoining the M25 and enables us to continue our growth.”
Allan Messing Consultancy advised GET.
