Brookfield Property Partners has bought £106m of debt secured against London skyscraper CityPoint.
The Canadian developer wants to take control of CityPoint from current owner Beacon Capital.
Brookfield is also bidding for Canary Wharf with Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund.
