Canadian fashion house has designs on City fringe

Fashion brand Ports 1961 has signed a deal to open its first UK office in London’s City fringe. Ports 1961, which was founded in Canada and has been worn by models such as Cara Delevingne, has agreed a six-year lease for 3,500 sq ft at Workspace’s Exmouth House on Pine Street, EC1.

It will pay around £58 per sq ft for the space at the 55,200 sq ft office building, part of which it will use as a showroom. The deal, which came during London Fashion Week, is understood to be part of the firm’s plans to expand in the UK. It has a concession in Harrods on Brompton Road, SW1.

Anton Page advised Workspace; the tenant was not represented.
