Bouygues is in talks with Canary Wharf Group to lease 146,000 sq ft of office space at Becket House, 1 Lambeth Palace Road, SE1.
Canary Wharf Group took over EY’s lease on the Development Securities- and Proprium-owned building as part of the professional services giant’s 207,000 sq ft letting at 25 Churchill Place, E14, in February 2014.
EY’s lease expires in September 2026.
It paid a rent of £35 per sq ft.
DevSec and Proprium bought the 137-year long leasehold interest in the building for £87m in June last year.
Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity owns the freehold.
Cushman & Wakefield is advising Canary Wharf Group; CBRE is acquiring for Bouygues.
