Nick and Christian Candy, best known for their luxury residential developments such as One Hyde Park, have made a bid to buy the Financial Times.
The brothers are thought to have approached Pearson, which owns the FT, within the last 12 months for initial discussions. Mukesh Ambani, one of India’s richest men, has also made a bid. The title is thought to be worth £790m.
