BNP Paribas Real Estate’s UK chief operating officer and managing director and former head of residential are being parachuted into the residential team following a raft of potential senior departures.
Mark England and Tim Cann will head the 69-strong team after executive director Adrian Owen leaves to rejoin rival Montagu Evans with up to five other staff.
The five, who have not yet left, include senior director Anthony Lee, directors Steven Cooper and Sam Blake and associate director Simon Rogers.
Owen joined BNP PRE in 2013 from Montagu Evans to expand its central London residential agency alongside Cooper.
Financial viability specialist Lee has been at BNP PRE for 15 years, advising the GLA on its affordable housing tool and Wandsworth Council on Battersea Power Station, SW8.
England is one of the most senior figures at BNP PRE and is responsible for residential consultancy at board level. He launched the BNP PRE brand in the UK and was chief executive until John Slade took over in 2012.
Cann, currently head of residential agency outside London, was formerly head of residential and has been with the company since 1989.
BNP PRE said: “While of course we would prefer to keep our senior residential team together, when a business undergoes such growth one expects some fallout.”
Montagu Evans declined to comment.
