CapCo rakes in more of Covent Garden

Covent Garden landlord Capital & Counties (CapCo) has bought Covent Garden Restaurants for £25m, in its latest move to revamp the London tourist trap.   The group’s portfolio of restaurants, which includes the Rock Garden at 6-7 The Piazza, WC2, will now be run by restaurateur London Brasseries.   Coffer Corporate Leisure advised CapCo and London Brasseries; KPMG acted for Covent Garden Restaurants.   joanne.payne@rbi.co.uk
