Capita poaches two JLL directors

Two directors in the JLL South East team are leaving the company to join Capita.

Thames Valley specialist Piers Leigh (pictured) is leaving JLL, where he has been a director since June 2011. Prior he spent 10 years at King Sturge.

At the same time Chris Barrs, a director in the national office team, will leave the firm after four years.

Both are understood to have been recruited as directors to boost Capita’s South East business.

Last month the chief executive of Capita’s property and infrastructure division, Richard Marchant, said the business was planning to recruit 200 employees this year, which would bolster Capita property and infrastructure’s headcount by 5% to over 4,000.
