Capita Symonds Real Estate is to merge its two Manchester offices into a single location in the city after taking a 6,000 sq ft lease at a rent of £18.50 per sq ft at Universities Superannuation Scheme’s The Observatory.
The move is the first co-location of regional accommodation for Capita Symonds since it acquired NB Real Estate in 2010.
The move will bring together about 60 employees into the eighth floor of The Observatory on Chapel Walks in central Manchester. The firm currently occupies offices in Sunlight House and Fountain Street.
Nick Gregory, director for Capita Symonds, said: “Being in one location will help us to build our presence in the North West and to communicate to clients the broader service offer they can now access through Capita Symonds Real Estate, which, in turn, presents new business opportunities for the team.”
DTZ and LSH represented USS. Capita Symonds was unrepresented.
