Capital & Centric has named Martin Crews as development director.
Crews will join the firm in Spring. He has previously worked for residential development and management company One Heritage Group, where he led on the consent of One Heritage Tower in Salford. He was also part of the senior leadership team that listed the business on the London Stock Exchange.
Prior to One Heritage Group, Crews held positions at CityBlock and Haas Group, specialising in the conservation of historic assets.
The move comes as Capital & Centric is on the hunt for more projects in smaller cities. The developer has also recently set out plans to transform Manchester’s Chapeltown Warehouse into its new headquarters.
Adam Higgins, co-founder of Capital & Centric, said: “We are always having conversations about expanding to new local authority areas, it just takes the right site with enough potential to hold true to our design-led values.”
