Capital & Centric picks agents to fill 85,000 sq ft across the North West

Capital & Centric has kicked-started a hunt for independent operators to fill up 85,000 sq ft of commercial and leisure space across its development portfolio in the North West.

Agents appointed on the sites across Greater Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent include CN Prop, Cushman & Wakefield, Mounsey Surveyors and Avison Young.

Sites include Weir Mill in Stockport and Farnworth Green in Bolton, Greater Manchester. Both developments have over 20,000 sq ft of commercial facilities on offer, with the first spaces available in late 2024.

At Neptune Mill, also in Manchester, Capital & Centric seeks an operator for a coffee bar and 15,000 sq ft of co-working office space in the restored mill on Chapeltown Street, which is set to be ready this summer.

Elsewhere, Goods Yard in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, has over 30,000 sq ft of space set to open in spring 2025.

Capital & Centric joint managing director Tom Wilmot said: “While we can design and build neighbourhoods that stand out from the rest, it’s the eclectic mix of operators that will ultimately make the place sing.

“We’re proud to be delivering some of the most anticipated neighbourhoods in the region and we want to hear from businesses to be part of the neighbourhoods’ stories from day one. With staggered openings across the sites, the next 18 months is going to be a full on but exciting time for our team and collaborators.”
