Capital & Centric submits plans for Manchester’s Neptune Mill

Capital & Centric has submitted plans to restore Neptune Mill, an industrial building on Chapeltown Street in Manchester.

The proposals include the delivery of more than 22,000 sq ft of workspace over four floors, with Capital & Centric reserving a spot for its new HQ to accommodate the expanding team.

It will also feature a social hub, network space and commercial spaces on the ground floor.

The restoration will see the building stripped back to reveal its red brickwork and timber beams. The developer also plans to leave some space on the building for a mural, building on existing neighbouring pieces sprayed during a street art festival.

Work is expected to start later in the year, with workspaces expected to be available for first occupants in late 2024.

Adam Higgins, co-founder of Capital & Centric, said: “It will be a collaborative space for ambitious businesses that want an alternative to the new build office blocks in other parts of the city.”
