The European Regional Development fund has awarded £2.4m to developer Capital & Centric’s £6m speculative renovation of 12 Tithebarn Street in Liverpool.
The project will see the 1970s office block turned into SME business pods totalling 40,000 sq ft of workspace.
Work is due to begin shortly pending detailed planning permission.
Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson said: “It’s great news that No 12 Tithebarn Street is being brought back to life. This development will provide invaluable support to the small and medium-sized businesses which are so important to the economic future of our city.”
