Capital & City acquires freehold of Soho office block

Central London investment specialist Capital & City has paid £30m for single asset company Hartstand in order to acquire the freehold of a major Soho office building.

St Lawrence House, Broadwick St, and 10 Livonia St, London W1, comprises 6,503 sq m (70,000 sq ft) of offices and is fully let.

The main tenants are VNU Publications and Hat Trick Productions. The annual rent of around £2.3m pa reflects about £344.45 per sq m (£32 per sq ft) overall.

Commenting, Albert Hay of Capital & City, said: “We are delighted to have added to our central London investment portfolio one of the largest purpose-built office buildings located in the heart of Soho.”
