Capital & Regional hires Arvaniti from Landsec

Capital & Regional has recruited Vasiliki Arvaniti as asset portfolio director from Landsec.

Arvaniti will be responsible for the delivery of the community shopping masterplan strategy across C&R’s shopping centres.

She has more than 15 years’ experience working for property companies including Hammerson and Lambert Smith Hampton, as well as Landsec. During her six years at Landsec she worked on assets such as Piccadilly Lights, W1, 1 Sherwood Street, W1, and 123 Victoria Street, SW1.

At Hammerson, she managed several prime assets such as Bullring, Birmingham; Oracle, Reading; and Highcross, Leicester.

Capital & Regional chief executive Lawrence Hutchings said: “Vasiliki’s appointment completes our senior management team and will enable us to increase our speed and agility in remerchandising and repositioning our community centres through deployment of our accretive capex programme.

“She brings a wealth of experience, having worked with some of the industry’s leading companies and her knowledge will be invaluable as we hone our offer as a specialist owner and manager of community shopping centres.”
