Cardiff’s agents were in an ebullient mood for the annual Focus reception last month.
More than 50 turned out for a chat with Estates Gazette over a few beers and some lunch – and there was plenty to talk about.
The BBC HQ deal at Capital Square was naturally a hot topic, as was the improving office take-up figures, although most agents gave a pragmatic response when asked how the market was faring. No bullish talk – the verdict was a gradual improvement. Let’s hope so, because there is a raft of office stock in the medium-term pipeline.
