Cardiff University has secured three floors at Topland Group’s Friary House, in one of the largest lettings at the Welsh capital this year.
It has taken 29,000 sq ft, of the 45,000 sq ft property on a five-year lease to establish offices and lecture rooms.
It will join Admiral insurance, which occupies another floor in the building, leaving 7,700 sq ft vacant.
William Davies director, asset management at Topland said: “This major letting, together with the significant new tenants secured at Capital Tower, justifies our ongoing investment in Cardiff.
“With more than 60,000 sq ft let in the past 12 months across Friary House and Capital Tower we are continuing our major refurbishment programme and are already in advanced discussion with a number of new tenants.”
