Carlsberg-Tetley intends to restructure and modernise its UK operation. This will involve the sale or closure of three breweries.
Carlsberg will also invest £40m in improvements to its two main twobreweries in Leeds and Northampton.
The UK accounts for about one third of Carlsbergs international beersales.
