Carpet retailer Carpetright has appointed Wilkinson Williams as its property adviser, replacing Harvey Spack Field.
Tim Lovegrove, director of property at Carpetright, said: “Following an internal review, we have decided to change property advisers and look forward to working with Wilkinson Williams. The firm is regarded as the market leader and has a proven track record in the out-of-town retail market.”
In January the retailer posted a profit rise from £1.9m to £6.7m in the six months to 25 October 2014. Like-for-like revenue increased by 6.5% over the period.
It has also reduced its estate by nine stores to 463 outlets, and now trades from 4m sq ft – a 2.2% reduction year-on-year.
