Carter Jonas appoints London valuations head

Carter-Jonas-THUMBCarter Jonas has appointed Dudley Holme-Turner as partner and national head of valuations.

Based at Carter Jonas’s head office in Chapel Place, W1, he will work closely with the 26-strong valuations team across the UK.

Holme-Turner joins from Cushman & Wakefield where he was joint-head of the commercial valuations team, specialising in loan security. He was previously a director at DTZ and started his career at Lambert Smith Hampton.

Holme-Turner’s appointment follows that of Peter Fry as partner and head of the commercial valuation team in Oxford, and Bruce Allen as partner and head of valuations in Leeds.

Fry joins from Vail Williams in Reading and has more than 25 years’ experience in valuation work across the M4 corridor and Thames Valley.

Allen joined the team in Yorkshire earlier this year from Deloitte, where he led the real estate valuations department in the Middle East. Prior to this, he held the position of director of valuation consultancy at GVA Bilfinger in Leeds.

Scott Harkness, head of commercial at Carter Jonas, said: “In recent years, the work of our valuation teams has become increasingly specialised. In response to this, and to better advise our clients, we have recently restructured our national offering, bringing together teams from across our business to form a dedicated cross-sector valuations team. Our clients can now draw on all of our areas of expertise to receive a bespoke valuations service at the highest level.

“Following this restructure, and with both Peter and Bruce recently joining us, Dudley’s appointment is the next step in developing the work of the team in London and across the UK. He is highly motivated and comes to us with a wealth knowledge and expertise.”
