Carter Jonas has bought New Square Holdings Group, which comprises two Cambridge-based property companies.
The purchase includes Januarys, a commercial and planning consultant, and Bradshaws, a residential sales and lettings business,
As part of the transaction, Carter Jonas is also taking Januarys’ development land business in Northampton.
The acquisition will be effective from 30 January and will increase the firm’s team of property specialists based in Cambridge to 80. Simon Dazeley, chairman of New Square Holdings, will join the firm as a consultant.
The firm’s new Bradshaws division will be headed by Richard Hatch and will trade initially as Carter Jonas Bradshaws.
Colin Brown of Januarys joins Carter Jonas as a partner and will head the planning team in Cambridge.
