Cash and great connections on offer in the EG Tech Academy

The clock is ticking for submissions to enter EG’s Tech Academy, an amazing competition for pre- and post-revenue tech start-ups in the real estate industry.

The event, now in its second year, offers entrants the potential to win cash prizes of up to £25,000 to turbo-charge their business, money-can’t-buy mentoring from the most senior names at CBRE, KMPG and Legal & General Real Assets, exposure to the biggest names in real estate through EG, plus access to all the benefits of being a Pi Labs company, including discounts on Crowdcube fees.

Last year’s winner, Demand Logic, has seen its business balloon since winning the competition. It counts Landsec, the Crown Estate, TH Real Estate, CBRE, JLL and Cushman & Wakefield among its clients.

The competition enabled the company to flourish financially and opened up conversations with a range of investors.

Chairman Sonny Masero said the company was close to closing its first major fundraising, which would allow it to explore its ambitions of taking Demand Logic global. He recommended that any company – whether pre or post revenue – took advantage of the “valuable journey” the academy can take you on.

So, if you want to see your business and idea flourish, why not enter the EG Tech Academy?

Setting yourself up for a valuable journey that could result in a cash prize of as much as £25,000 and give you access to key figures in the real estate industry and exposure in the biggest and furthest-reaching real estate information provider, EG, could not be easier.

Simply submit details of your idea to Samantha.mcclary@egi.co.uk. Make sure to include details of its impact on the built environment, evidence of your market’s potential and your commitment to your cause. For full details click here.
