Castlemore appointed for Leeds city centre regeneration

Castlemore Securities has been appointed by Leeds City Council as developers for a £275m city centre regeneration scheme.

The 5.5 acre mixed-use development, to be called Brunswick Place, is bordered by Merrion Way and Brunswick Terrace within the ring road of Leeds city centre.

The development will include over 600,000 sq ft of office space and around 69,000 sq ft of retail.

A 30-storey tower adjacent to Clay Pit Lane will contain a portion of the 490 residential units also included in plans.

Castlemore is hoping to submit an application by the end of the year. Development will be phased and is estimated to take six years to complete.

CBRE are agents for Castlemore. DTZ, Leeds office, are acting on behalf of the vendors.
